I navigate Ancestry.com, Newspapers.com, explore cemeteries, and delve into courthouses as if they were my second home. MY PASSION FOR GENEALOGY BEGAN AT A YOUNG AGE
My passion for genealogy began at a young age, sparked by the stories my grandmother shared—stories that often held just a kernel of truth. Those tales led me down the path of exploring my family's history, uncovering narratives of military heroism, workers’ rights, westward migration, tragic crimes, and the effects of past pandemics as I sought to help others discover their heritage.
The hallmark of my research approach is to ensure that events and stories are bolstered by multiple, reliable sources. Since information can often be recorded or handed down imperfectly, I owe it to my clients to reconcile inconsistencies. In fact, that is my favorite part of my work, a passion honed over 20 years of experience as an analyst.
One of my specialties is preparing line of descent documentation for Canadian citizenship applications. I have also compiled family research samples to assist those navigating similar processes.
